Georgia Brady-Tompt (b. 2000 in San Francisco, USA). She graduated in Slade School of Art, BA in 2024. She currently Lives and works in London, UK. Working across sculpture and painting, Georgia Brady-Tompt creates modular installations that play with our perception of place-making. They touch on unsettling the familiarity of domestic and industrial spaces, incorporating recognisable objects often found in working systems. The painted surface in her work serves to inform the illusionary or exaggerated interior geometry, often becoming cannibalised into the sculptures themselves. The work often gets rearranged, reassembled, and deconstructed indefinitely, to parallel our continuous shifting recognition of our relationships with our architectures.
